Why Are Banks Approving Loan Modifications?
It has been a crazy week so far. I have been flooded with CALLS from my clients that are in the process of their “LOAN MODIFICATION”.
All of them are calling to tell me that their modification has finally been approved and even though they have tried a few times and in some cases even got a denial they finally got an approval.
BUT…. Their question to me is HOW COME ALL OF A SUDDEN NOW? What happened that the bank is giving it to them NOW but when they were trying and trying the bank was being difficult? They ask me if I did anything special or called the bank behind the scene???
The answer is very simple.
First let me assure you that these are REAL!!!
If you just got a $1,200 reduction in your mortgage payment like Jay from Brooklyn N.Y. got or a $1,001 reduction like Elizabeth from Monsey N.Y. got. You should no its not a gimmick its REAL.
Second, the BANKS have a major problem here (and you can take advantage of it) by the way don’t tell them I told you…
Here is the problem, the government has given them tons of money and the bank had not done anything with that except for spending on lavish vacations and bonuses.
But more importantly they have not done enough to help the regular hard working home owner like you and me….
They can’t get away with this anymore BECAUSE they have to report to the Government how many Loan Modifications they did.
The numbers so far looked dismal for example bank of america only had done 4% and wells fargo had only done 6% and so on….
So the government gave them a 500,000 loan modification deadline and they have to have at least that amount by November 1st
So NOW it all makes sense. How can they get to that number in just 30 days?
They open all OLD files and try to get them approved and also get all the new ones approved quickly.
So folks I would like to say that I’m working behind the scene BUT in essence I’m not doing anything special, its you and the bank getting it done (of course we set it up correctly when it was submitted) but the response all of a sudden is the PRESSURE…..and DEADLINE…
So you can’t PROCASTINATE anymore….. Take advantage of the banks problem and reduce your mortgage payment by Thousands of dollars.
