Illinois man arrested for mortgage fraud
OAK LAWN, Ill. – A suburban Chicago man wanted by the FBI for mortgage fraud has turned himself in after an international manhunt.
FBI officials said Tuesday that 50-year-old Abe Karn of Oak Lawn had been wanted since March, when a federal grant jury in Chicago indicted him for violating the Federal Wire Fraud Statute.
The FBI says Karn returned from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to turn himself in to authorities last week.
