Home Tax Credit Audit Shows Abuses
Just as Congressional leaders are calling for an extension of a popular $8,000 tax credit for first-time homebuyers, or even an expansion to all homebuyers, government investigators reported Thursday that audits suggest widespread abuse and errors in the program.
